A month has passed..We are now entering the 6th month of the year..phew.
However, in the beginning of June, our government had announced the increase of petrol price, with effective from 5th June..Before that, we have heard numerous rumours on the price increase and everyone is guessing when will this take place!! On 4th June evening, one of my colleague purposely came up to 3rd floor and informed us that price of petrol will increase from RM1.92 to RM2.70 tomorrow! I didn't really trust that rumours until another friend of mine, MSN me the link on the breaking news of petrol price increase! My first reaction was "what?! RM2.70? Wow..Malaysia Boleh!". Thereafter, I forward the link to all my colleagues and soon, everyone is cursing our government like no one's business..
Anyway, I decided to try my luck to pump petrol right after work (though I knew the petrol station will definitely be crowded)..Initially, I wanted to go to the Shell station in Pandamaran but from far, I could see the long queue, starting from the traffic light..well, no choice, I had to try another alternative. In the end, I managed to squeezed myself into the long queue at the Shell station in Tmn Chi Liung, the 5th car. Woahh..managed to pump full tank and had a sense of satisfactory! haha
I also attended a wedding holy matrimony of Stanley & Lily on 7th June (Public Holiday), in my church. The very first wedding matrimony I attended for this year..coz I work on every Saturday! Mark came along with me too..and it is such a small world. He met his lecturer in the matrimony - Lily's uncle. During the lunch reception, as Mark was queuing up for food, suddenly someone tapped on his shoulder and said " oh, so you are going to be my son in law!" Mark was puzzled and was trying hard to interpret what has been said to him, by this lady. She was Mrs Lian, one of my church's deaken. Actually, she is referring to our wedding next year and viewed Mark as the son in law of KCMC. hehe..We also attended the dinner reception at V-Garden Restaurant. Before we headed home, we decided to drop by Centro ballroom, to look see look see. There were 2 weddings going on. Mark dragged me into the ballroom, pretending we are one of the guest. Actually we wanted to see the environment and atmosphere of the ballroom (for future reference). :)
Next day, both of us had a date in Neway Karaoke Box, Centro, the 7th branch, newly opened on 15th May. Nice environment and in conjunction with the opening, there is a special promotion of 50% off for member. (life time membership fee was RM11.50) We sang from 3pm-6pm..quite enjoyable. Let me give you the Klang Neway (03-33442600) charges here:-

At the same night, we went to The Curve coz we wanted to meet up with the band that we are engaging for our wedding. Her name is Wing and every weekend, she will perform at Heaven, The Curve. My friend, who had heard her singing in a wedding dinner, introduced her to me. She started singing during her secondary school and, yes, she is indeed very good.
There are still so much things to do and plan for our big day. Mark will be away to US for business trip for 2 weeks. Hope that he has a safe trip.
