Last weekend was pretty relaxing...but tiring as usual..how ironic right..relaxing yet tiring..haha
I was basically 'camped' in church for the whole Saturday..I attended a training (All that are serving in Church Sunday service are encouraged to come) given by Rev Yeo in church, from 9am-12pm..then YM Committee meeting at 4pm-7pm..and lastly, wrapped up with attending Oon Sin's CG from 8pm-10pm..as the Vice President this year, it is one my duty to visit various CG, to see how are they doing and to give supports..
Yesterday was my 3rd Sunday School class...I had minor problems with my Std 1 children..I still remembering meeting them on the first week, they were so obedient and adorable..but yesterday..wow, they shown me their true colors..pretty noisy and it was hard to get their attention..I had 15 students, some of them are quiet, some talkative, some naughty, some helpful..all sort of characteristics..While I was teaching, suddenly, one of the boy, grabbed my hand and started telling me about his stories in school..so I had to pause, gave him my attention and listened to him...so cute...and then, while we were doing some craft works, some of them were so busy, helping me to clear off the rubbish..isn't that sweet..but I hope they are doing that out of willingness, and not because I promised them that there will be rewards...haha..Anyhow, its good to be back in Sunday School..certainly it make your life happier..
and of course, I met up with my 3 buddies during my birthday...and Rita is pregnant..happy for her..Donny, her hubby, had been such a caring person..been reading all sort of books regarding pregnancy and when he was sharing with us, we could tell how happy he was!..then Ah Bu, EW's bf came late...EW was saying that she gave him a dateline, to marry her by end of 2008..and Ah Bu was really getting the pressure..poor guy..we had a wonderful evening together..I think we will be meeting up again during CNY..
I will be graduating from Dale Carnegie course on 31/1/2007..very excited about it..We are told to invite guests to join us on that day..so I will be inviting my GM, who has given me the chance to attend this course..and I am sure he wanted to see the changes in me after attending this course..and also, inviting another special person, whom I shared so much about this course with..:)
